This item is described in Korean as hanji buchae - hanji, traditional paper, and buchae, Korean for fan. Hanji paper dyeing is done by hand. The bamboo components of the fan are grown and carved by the Korean craftsman; This handmade Hanji paper is then worked by the artisan at the studio, and finished by hand with a wooden handle. It is the artist Kim Hyunjoo who created this work.
