Who are we ?
Created in 2023, DUTANG takes its name from its founder.
DUTANG is an online concept store which presents a selection of decorative objects, tableware, jewelry, stationery which will allow you to travel into Korean culture. Each object has been carefully made by Korean creators and artisans.
How did you come up with the idea of creating DUTANG?
After growing up in France all our years, we went to South Korea and we loved this country for its culture, its traditions, its design, its artisanal know-how.
Their traditional design is clean, elegant, classic and contemporary, with wonderful colors.
We went looking for objects seen in South Korea in France, but we were unable to find products reflecting Korean culture during our trip.
We therefore wanted to promote Korean culture: its artisanal know-how such as lacquered wood, ceramics, hanji paper through our products. We have completed our collection by offering Korean brands of decoration and jewelry.
